I was fortunate enough to have a long weekend this weekend and let me tell you, I needed it. I always look forward to extra time at home but this weekend was pretty packed with activity. It’s a struggle to find a balance between being a working mom and wanting to spend as much time as I possible can with my son. I forced myself to disconnect from social media a bit and I think the break did the body good. I did have some time to plan out a few recipes that I want to share with in the coming weeks, and I’m so excited for some things I have planned for the blog. I will be doing a special DIY post, preparing for the Easter Holiday. I feel like it’s such a nice touch to give away homemade goodies, so I’m going to share some of those tips throughout the next couple of weeks.
Tomorrow marks the first day of Spring and I’m so ready. I usually enjoy the winter in New England, but this year I have so many fun outdoor projects planned that I cannot wait for the snow to melt so we can get started. I’ve also been focusing on getting healthier and making some changes to my diet/exercise. It’s so hard to be outside when the weather is so cold, so the warmer weather cannot come fast enough.
This week I’ll be sharing some not so healthy but very delicious recipes. I’ve got literally THE best chocolate chip cookies, panzanella (ok this one is healthy and refreshing), blueberry muffins and a highlight of my favorite local wine!
